     @georgia Culturally, it gets overlooked because it's a convenient place for us to not have to think about the old and infirm. America needs to fix the way it treats its old people in general, it's super fucked.Also they're profitable as fuck.

     i feel so bad for all the people who will never get home from skilled nursing facilities... my nana was neglected while she was there, they didn't bathe her and she came back with diaper rash. one can only attribute so much to "covid precautions".
