  @almn76 maybe it relies on python2 or something?, but the mozc character-handwriting-recognition tool got stripped out recently here. currently using a separately compiled binary plonked, but dunno what to do about that in the future...

  I had some issues with fcitx on Ubuntu, some years ago.
  Since I'm using IBus, everything works fine with German / Spanish / Chinese (Pinyin package) / Japanese (MOZC package).
