     tho tbf i swear some dogs can just sense when you're in danger, our old cocker spaniel was the goofiest silliest dog around but one time i took him out to meet some friends and on the walk there i took a shortcut through an alleyway, this huge drunk guy was gonna approach me in the alleyway and my dog went mental

     @neikocat idunno, but it's really neat like having co-evolved to be partners with this extremely cute and kind animal and being able to read one another's body language and brains doing the oxytocin-releasing thing together and then partnering up and going on adventurescould so easily have been different
