     @moth ooh my last office building used to be bell south, there's a network room with 6 racks, some abandoned equipment (that was still on...?), and hundreds of cut ethernet cables hanging from the ceiling.

     @nik I saw this with cellular carriers as well, although that was over someone's shoulder and not firsthand.
