      「Gboard」に漢字のよみがなを取得するAPI ～サードパーティーアプリに組み込み可能／「Google コンタクト」アプリでも活用、氏名を入力すると自動でよみがなが保管される

      　今さら説明するまでもないことだが、日本語入力システム（IME）は入力された「よみがな」をもとに「漢字」などを引き、入力候補として表示する。つまり、「よみがな→漢字」のデータベースを保持しているわけだ。ならば、その逆「漢字→よみがな」を行うことで、入力した「漢字」交じりのテキストに自動で「よみがな」（やルビ）を振ることもできるのではないだろうか。米Googleが5月20日（日本時間）付けで公開した「Google Developers Japan」の記事で、それを実現する新しい「Gboard」APIが紹介されている。
