what if you made a way to instantly distribute these kinds of applications, but in a *nix secure environment or jail or something, so you can run anything from the web on demand, like hyperlinks for local software

I realize we've gone full circle on the web thingit's just an application distribution platform at this point -- figma is a c++ graphic design application, compiled into webassembly, downloaded and cached into your browser, then run whenever inside that sandbox
