Mastodon v2.5.0(rc)から、管理画面でCSSを追加できるようになっているので、そこに下記の内容を追加すると、さっきの「コンパクト」テーマと同じ動作を試せるよ。

ただし、インスタンスの全員を巻き込むので、勝手なことしてても怒られないトコか、お一人様でやってねw
