     @Eidon A variant of the new coronavirus has been confirmed to be infectious in Japan, so I am concerned about its future spread.

     @slowfallinward @Eidon The average vaccine uptake rate in Japan is about 20% and only 50% for people over 65 years old.

     @toneji @Eidon Have you considered using an elastomeric particulate respirator (RL3 or RS3 I believe?) in public places, or do you? I am not sure how far vaccine rollout in Japan has gone or how strained PPE supply is there
