   honestly id def take love over the truth. like if someone revealed to me that i lived in some kinda plato cave truman show world where everyone hated me and lied to me for all my life id probably just refuse to accept it even if the alien who was showing me had like definite proof. Like nope. im just gonna live in denial sorry about that,

     @rizzo mmmi guess really the only danger in wilful ignorance is hurting others, so if that's somehow avoided...but how to suppress curiosity is the other big problem XX

     people do this even to like less awful truths to cope with them. they just deny something endlessly and live like that.its kinda worrisome. maybe that's where morals are particularly important.
