     @lain you can't target the whole thing because the other parts are hidden under a membrane. only the spikes are exposed

     @coldacid it's hard to even imagine a mechanism by which this could not be true. How should a vaccine that targets a specific part of the virus be better than natural immunity which targets the whole thing?
