   @lain @guizzy think it's specifically the perception of "you are ruining my life"not caring until there's a perceived personal threat. also why "no gay" is always about "gay propaganda" and "corrupting" etc

     @guizzy maybe most people really are totalitarian by nature and want everyone to be forced to do 'the right thing'. Not sure what to do about it.

But decades of horrible propaganda has created these memetic defense mechanisms by which they isolate themselves from the realisation of what they've become.
