winter (velartrill@springbo.cc)'s status on Sunday, 29-Aug-2021 22:26:58 JST
winterthis is an interesting barometer for how close to the normie standard i fall. some of these things strike me as "nice to have" bonuses that are irrelevant to relationship quality (house, height, 6pack), some i don't especially care about (gym, penis length (it's girth that matters btw), parents, "fashionable"), some are legit turn-offs ("has a car" unless it's electric i guess, "college degree", "wants kids" yikes, "6 figure salary" like sure being rich would be cool i guess but also fuck the bouge you must be this working class to pass).going to the gym is sexy, sure, but it also means more time apart which i hate because, y'know, bpd.i didn't even originally want to get married and we initially did it primarily for legal reasons (but yes, no prenup, because fuck that), but in retrospect it was the best decision of my life.about the only one that was actually mandatory for me was "doesn't watch porn". and anyone who doesn't have a full head of hair would have been waaaay out of my age range lolalso "5 year plan" lol. sorry i only date ruling communist parties
@lain@velartrill I could be wrong but I don't believe a household making 200k a year is in a different social category from one making 60. you're still working for a living, don't get giant rich people tax breaks, don't wear different clothes, etc. there are a lot of ways to slice it though.
@velartrill six figure salary is well-to-do but not rich, probably clearly in bougie territory now.I made good money but I still consider myself a pleb because I work for someone else.
@lain@Moon@velartrill going only by norm of daily-met people here, people on the train or who become friends. might be some world out there where "middle class" is normal, but i don't seem to be living in it
