Next.js v11.1.1からpages/_documentでfunctional componentが使えるようになりました。
pages/_documentでrenderメソッド以外を使うケースは極めて稀ですがこれまではclassベースのコンポーネントにしなければならず少し冗長さがありました。functional componentも使えるようになり、簡単に書けるようになりますね。
