And don't think that they aren't going to try it, either. Grade 9 was probably the right time to for me to learn such things. I'd rather children learn about buttsex from yet another snooze worthy lecture from pornhub, or worse an afghan rapefugee.We definitely learned a fair bit of history, too, though there was a soft spot in the 1945-1980 era where it was considered "too recent" to be considered as such(they really should have gone later, though imho). In retrospect I should have taken econ in highschool, but then again, I'd rather have taken a marxist political economy/dialectic class than that.If your local school doesn't teach science, math, and optionally econ...wtf *are* they teaching?

I would like history to be taught which is something that seems to have died in the public education system around 1980 and forward. Maybe some science, math, and economics 101 to go along with it.
