     @Moon @allison i'm kinda dumb this stuff, but radeon driver is open, isn't it? didn't install anything new; already had mesa for old intel graphics, and all works perfectlydon't do the videogames so not sure, but tested with like emulating ps2/gamecube stuff when it showed up because was curious, and all worked that

     @shmibs @allison I found a direct comparison between the two GPUs and they were close to the same so I'm probably OK either way. the Intel is a couple years newer and probably has the best drivers since Intel makes them completely free then puts them into Linux kernel themselves
