     @nik @hj mpd is great except for the no good clients problem; just 1000 half-functioning bad-designsas mpd user, sorely tempted to make it 1001 ????

     @nik i use mpd primarily because it's uncoupled from my desktop/os, that allows me to enjoy my music still while dualbooting

     @uguu @nik ncmpcpp is super awk doing the same forces navigating with artist -> album -> track thing and splitting everything into separate panes and things

     @shmibs @nik ncmpcpp is pretty great, mpdroid works fine enough until you want to browse albums
