     @Madcucks they definitely lied but at the same time things got better enough that they ended the lockdowns. They didn't have to end the lockdowns, iif there was a problem they could have extended them indefinitely.

     If the lockdowns work, how come Australia, who has the strictest policies on the planet, still dealing with lockdowns and outbreaks.

     China ended their pandemic because they don't have opportunistic media running scare stories all day, and they're massive liars when it comes to sharing any data.

     @Madcucks @Moon yes, you need both a culture that encourages cooperation rather glorifying self-interest, to reduce the number of petulant contrarians, and a government that's scary enough to keep the remaining psychopaths from ruining everything (where scary == regularly kidnaps and occasionally murders people who get in its wayat that point widespread lockdowns are only necessary for mass outbreaks, and you can make use of efficient testing and creepy surveillance to locate and neutralise small outbreaks quickly without shutting things down anywhere else

     Sounds like hell, better to have a culture that believes in self risk assessment and when a virus that has a death rate of less than 1% people can decide for themselves if they want to go to the movies.

     Lockdowns were implemented using a flawed model that was so unbelievably wrong, made by virologists who's whole life is spent hoping for the Andromeda strain so they can be important.

     If lockdowns work, why did the virus ever get out of china?

It's believed that only one infected person initially spread the disease via new york city. the threat wasn't taken seriously, in part because of our retarded media's reflexive opposition to anything Trump said, even if accidentally right.

     The numbers are all faked. 94% of deaths are due to other conditions.

     We were threatened with a million deaths in just a few months when they announced the lockdowns in March. Here we are 20 months later and still haven't hit a million.

     It was a scam since Day 1, no worse than the common cold if you turn the TV off.
