@georgia well sure, but would say doesn't really apply birth-sign stuff particularly, though, like "i'm spiritual" is pretty uniformly spread trait, and it taking gendered forms is straight-girls having straight-girl-friends and complaining about boys, like when you're in a crowd of people can't go 30 minutes after meeting without asking birth sign the meme gets spread, but then cross the border and you find all these guys say santa muerte is their magical gf

probably my most trad take is that feminists hugely overstate the role of socialization in forming gendered personality and behavior differences. socialization is important but prenatal hormone exposure is likely moreso. for example treating CAH in the womb makes girls much less likely to develop gynephilia and cross gender interests as adults, and development of autism in females is significantly mediated by prenatal testosterone exposure and correlated with cross gender interests, as well as with homo/bisexuality and ftm transexuality. likewise with PCOS which doesn't have a prenatal virilizing effect itself but is caused by prenatal virilization, well particularly by an excess of anti-mullerian hormone. similarly in males prenatal devirilization through the fraternal birth order effect is associated with GNC homosexuality and androphilic mtf transexuality. (it's not a coincidence that homosexuality in both sexes is associated with gender nonconformity.) to caveat there's nothing inherently better about moid/gynephile patterned traits than foid/androphile patterned traits but the difference does exist, not categorically, just as averages, and this becomes more evident in extreme cases like the aforementioned.
