Ho-Ho-Hyolobrika (hyolobrika@fedi.club)'s status on Sunday, 26-Dec-2021 09:50:27 JST Ho-Ho-Hyolobrika @silverpill That’s not a de-institutionalization of art practise as a whole. That’s a de-institutionalisation of art ‘sale’ on the internet. You could still practice art, and you could still sell it physically, but you could not sell it digitally due to the nature of information, which NFTs don’t solve anyway. They don’t enable you to sell the art, they just enable you to sell the NFT, which has only a loose connection to the art as the latter can easily be set free from the former by the simple act of right-clicking.
