@lain@Jdogg247@Moon@pcachu@ademan Clarification. I should have focused my dig. In that only one of them even seems principled, however they are also pretty dumb and get information from bad sources.Just like people you see washing their dollar bills in alcohol and locking their kids in the trunk. You have to consider people that would usher in a figurehead that can't find the bathroom before it's too late. I'm not sure even morons would fall for that twice in a row if they're suffering results so quickly. They could yet prove me wrong. :3
@thendrix@Jdogg247@Moon@pcachu@ademan if only they were smart, then their dictatorial powers of ad-hoc binding legislation would be much more appropriate
@lain@Jdogg247@Moon@pcachu@ademan The same court who has members that think 700 million people in the US have COVID? Some of the dumbest boomers in the nation. None of the rest are worth a 1/4 of Thomas. :3
perhaps we could peacefully dissociate, and live our lives according to our convictions without battling each other every 2 and 4 years over who will impose their will on whom… they can live in their caves according to their wishes, and we can live, according to our wishes.
@pcachu@Jdogg247@Moon I remember when I used to get push back calling them a cult, and now this is one of the most cited social media accounts on a leftist platform:
@Moon@Jdogg247 conversely: mocking the vax-and-mask cultists who get The Coof anyway is not at all ghoulish (since omicron is actually weaksauce shit) and far more necessary.
@shmibs@thendrix@Jdogg247@ademan@lain@pcachu there was an enormous top-down effort to prevent him from being re-elected. can't prove anything, don't know if he still would have lost anyway, but I will never see it as legitimate.
@Moon@Jdogg247@lain@pcachu@thendrix@ademan "top-down effort" was put first into ensuring that only other available candidate was "man, my guy; man" man, so kind of cancels out (+people pushing the other way in horrible guy's favourhorrible guy will probably will pretty definitely win again next time if he runs because bounceback, but wtill managed to inspire record-level voting that was directed entirely against him and not actually for anything
@Moon@Jdogg247@lain@pcachu@thendrix@ademan anyone who wears a red shirt and doesn't do what he wants is out now, so could do; more about his personal decision (or assassination, if anything, which would not end well
@shmibs@Jdogg247@ademan@lain@pcachu@thendrix I don't think they'll let him get close to running again. He slipped through the first time because they thought they were invincible.
@thendrix@Moon@Jdogg247@ademan@lain@pcachu@shmibs The thing is they are absolutely hoping that it does not fall apart if they pull it again. They're hoping that everyone is going to "sit back and take it", and that gulaging the 1/6 protesters will "send a message" to not question anything. They're hoping that only fringeish sites like the Gateway Pundit and fediverse posters reporting on it will keep the cattle silent because "CNN isn't reporting on it, it must be fake news". That's even implying the Gateway Pundit won't get the Alex Jones treatment and be forced to stop reporting on it from a lawsuit after the ballot lady who was doing sus shit sued them.
@Moon@Jdogg247@lain@parisc@pcachu@ademan@shmibs Yeah, people gave the system a chance and it failed them. Local school boards were training wheels for what comes next. Either people take it back or it falls apart in 2022.
@lain@Jdogg247@Moon@parisc@pcachu@ademan@shmibs We were calling it the "Yeah, we did it" article. Zucker-Chan bought more votes than I ever seen or thought possible. They even had voting buses illegally harvesting ballots acting as poll centers. Citizens saw all that, so this year people shouldn't get mad when they take the law into their own hands imho.
@Moon@shmibs@Jdogg247@ademan@lain@pcachu@thendrix Can't prove anything? Maybe not in the court of law, but there was that Time Magazine article about the "shadow campaign to save the 2020 election" where the whole thing read like a Cathedral advertisement. It talked about how stunning and brave it was that these mega-corporations and rich activists with deep pockets worked to help the Dems win the election, stopping short of saying "fraud" of course.
