   @rice @georgia pretty same. television was never allowed to be used because weird religious reasons, but wake up and walk in see it blaring while father stands and talks his sister over phone, his "i know what is happening" kinda smugness voice: "the world has changed"

     @georgia i remember 9/11 being shown on tv when I was six. walked into the kitchen, the small CRT tv my parents had was showing it on the news
