   @georgia seems like gimmickhere is nearly always half-split, with midline adjusted and multiple windows either side that can be rotated. split or join like that is single keystroke, and the few times want anything else prefer having manual rather than forced into something out of "efficiency". like even if wanted the result it gives would save like a few seconds every month at most, and doing something weird then probably don't want that result anyways; manual is easiest
