     @Moon don't think that's the point?if one person does something hurts another, that's a thing for those two figure out between them, while this seems about the "public" side of pointing-and-mocking turns into poor guys internalising things and being hurt, feeling inferior and bad, which then gets redirected outwards as hurting others

     @shmibs that sounds like your argument against it, which is a better argument than the grab-bag of bad arguments in the article. The article straightforwardly says what it thinks, which just portrays it as nonstandard masculinity, which is weird if only one partner is ok with it.

     @Moon mmm, well maybe that part's wrong dunno. do see in here though the discussion otherwise being about how others react to, which (although it does the dumb thing of exclusively talking about women being hurt and ignoring it hurts men too) i agree with
