It's shocking to me how in almost the entirely of my career, I've encountered hardly anyone whose emails suggest that they have more than a middle school English education. I don't expect people to be talking like characters in a Victorian novel or something but how is it that like literally no one besides me writes proper sentences and uses proper grammar. half the time it feels borderline impossible to communicate with people because of this.
