@chjara @Moon all security is either obscurity (treasure buried in a weird place, locks on the chest) or response mitigation (antivirus/fail2ban/guard dogs). just harder to guess private key than different port

@Moon security by obscurity is not actually bad. it's bad only if obscurity of technology is the only layer of security, it's perfectly fine as part of a multi-layer security solution

i changed the port of my ssh server this stops like 100% of all login attempts
