     @konni @lain laws don't really apply to megacorporations in the first place :cirnoHeh: a lot of the things you mentioned could be prevented without laws in the first place anyway, they serve more like general rules than anythinglaws are a way to restrict liberties within a community, and are originally meant to serve as way to apply justice (e.g. you shouldn't have done that, this is not accepted within our group). who is it protecting here? :shrugz: it doesn't serve anyone but large corporations, actually, which have so much money and power they can afford to ignore such legislation in the first placelaws aren't passed without intention or out of pure evil, there's always some reasoning for them, somewhere (and it rarely ever is for your good; and in the rare cases it is, it usually isn't applied anyway)

     in the other mood, they write the worst most malicious laws a human could imagine, lie about what the intention behind it is, and relentlessly try to push it past the parliament as quickly as possible

     cus this way vendors are kinda bullied into taking really bad deals which centralizes power in giant chains
