I didn't read this article in full I think I'll go back to it because I see it talks about the black panthers and that's something that is of genuine interest to me but so far I'm not sure if this is gonna change my thoughts since mainly it's just saying stuff i already thinkin bout I think there should be fewer guns. "I think we should have a more pacific society, one in which violence isn’t as alluring as apple pie, and we don’t have street parties to celebrate assassinations. "yeet yeetAs for Dianne Feinstein. I have no clue to who she is. I doubt she has any real power. Legit every name brand name democrat who wants gun control just wants more screening and shit. I want the us military to be demilitarized too.

     @rizzo @eris @shibao @shmibs ❄ what they want is screening to prevent people with mental health diagnoses from owning guns, but statistically we are not the problem and are 5 times more likely to be the victim, so the democrats’ plan is merely a massive invasion of medical privacy and civil rights that would not even affect the problem (but they hope to win them votes in their precious blue states)

     @changeling @eris @shibao @shmibs after we banned those things for teens use went down though. It didn't wipe it out but use did go down.I don't think this is a fix it all. I'm not advocating this is going to fix it all. A tad frustrated people think I am advocating this is going to fix it all.

     @rizzo @changeling @eris @shibao not sure about that. tabaco use has dropped a lot for everyone because health-issue-awareness campaigning etc, but wasn't anyone the school i went to didn't drink at or before 15 at the latest. kinda hard to get metrics for something when respondents are going to lie

     @changeling @eris @shibao @shmibs kind of grateful i have no official autism diagnosis. I would like people to have a fire arm safety certificate. I don't know if that's across the board. A waiting period would also maybe be helpful? I don't know whether all these teens should have guns. Is there any real issue with making the age be 21 instead of 18....?
