   can someone write me a bionic reading plugin for calibre (i.e. want to be able to 'convert' books to this style automatically: https://bionic-reading.com/). I'll pay 200 euro in bitcoin, ethereum, dai or monero.

     @lain Did you know that your brain? and so just a few letters are enough reads faster to recognise whole words than your eyes?think calibre uses python though, right? actually looking it now...

     @lain i found that the boldness didn't really get it all the way there in terms of experience, and you can't easily define styles the way i wanted

     so the plugin now asks for opacity, if its smaller than one, all non bold text will be wrapped in <span style="opacity: x">

     the plugin *might* be reuploaded by a third party (not me) via tor on the calibre forums, later on

     @lain cringe, lxml doesn't have text nodes, only "text" and "tail" properties

     i did it though, i just need to change the manifest thing, cus i used the example from the documentation as a jumping- off point

     it right now just boldens a set portion of the text, that you can set in a dialog(so according to the original spec)

     you click "Edit Book" then Plug-ins>Bionic-Reading, and it boldenes everything

     this particular book has awful css though

     --ah also idk how to take payments in bitcoin - even if this is sufficient lmao

     so hell, maybe i just had fun speedrunning learning a language, an xml library and calibres plugin api in ~2 1/2 hours?? :welp:

     @lain it was also boldifying title, meta, link and style tags, thats fixed now

     it's kinda ready, idk where to put it...imo the patent thing is rediculous, it's just making words bold
