As for the success of proposals: from the perspective of an open-source software developer I have quite easily more than 100x what I could feasibly work on piled up in bug reports, feature requests and my own personal ideas. Just because you propose something and someone doesn't jump to implement it doesn't necessarily mean they don't care about it. It's really hard 😐 @allo
@allo there is r/xmpp where some xmpp devs are lurking. Or maybe some of the xmpp-bubbles MUC? like the MUC for your favourite client? or the MUC of the XSF?
otherwise propose a Feature Request in the issue tracker of a Client.
I love XMPP, but I also tried to propose features and it was never successful so far 🤷♂️ If you find a fool and fail proof method let me know 😁
