   @imgn If you have been poor your whole life, it is implicit that you work hard. There's no other way.
   
   For me, that phrase is a red flag of "I got my bussiness/lots of money from dad, and I need others to notice that I've deserved it". Which, you know, is almost never the case.

     I think people who say "I worked hard to get where I am" are the most self-deluded people on the planet. Many people work hard. Not everyone gets somewhere.
