@s0 I have the same server, and even when the fan is not noisy (you have more than one fan?), I've been searching because it's really hot where I live.

  Has anyone done a fan replacement for an older home server? Wondering if replacing the 10-year-old fans in my HP gen8 might make it quieter or if I should chase up other options like retrofitting a different model from Sunon or similar.
