Russia removes its troops from the city of Kherson and "evacuates" (i.e., deports) civilians to the eastern bank of the Dnieper river. Even as resupply and reinforcement of soldiers is difficult to provide in this area, for Russia to simply give up this strategically important city (and area) that controls the water supplies to Crimea makes little sense. To me it rather looks like Russia prepares the ground for the deployment of "dirty nukes". ("If we can't have it, then the Ukrainians definitely won't get it" has been the maxim of the Russian warfare all along.)
