One of my biggest changes going freelance last year was moving off Windows on a daily basis. I've been running on my #Linux laptop _professionally_ for a year and a half - it may not be the most anti-establishment setup, but it's actually amazing to think "this is solved now" after so many years thinking I _need_ Windows.
Weak spots are still Google Drive/Calendar, all the various SaaS/PaaS needed, VSCode, & a Macbook on hand for graphic designs. Windows ecosystem really did just shatter tho.
