@riker is a Federation bot, we've been very clear about that. It respects #nobot tags and unfollows you when requested. It's also been very effective at improving Federation on our instance.

@swift is not a bot. The parody account was intended as an experiment. The list of followers was imported. There's no automation. Users can easily block or mute the account if it bothers them.

I made a mistake with @swift. I didn't consider that the import would bypass #nobot and #nofollow tags. 2/x
