I find it strange that checking out a book, movie, or music CD from a library does not really benefit the creator directly but it isn't stigmatized as heavily as piracy. The internet is the infinite library, where taking a copy for yourself doesn't deprive anyone else of that material and you can make as many copies as you need by yourself and share them.

Piracy had the same effect on culture as libraries and we need to not stigmatize it.
