@kro Star Trek: The Next Generation
An old TV show.
-
@kro But it is good. It's about what we could achieve without Jews.
-
@kro Mhm, early episodes have lots of inconsistencies like that. It's fun to notice them while watching.
-
@kro >TNG is awful compared to TNG
Dude wat
-
@kro Eh, I agree that Picard is sometimes too passive, but I blame the format more than the character. I actually prefer him in the movies, where he can really make the "bridge officer but still deeply involved" character shine. Nemesis is probably the best example of how Picard should be.
-
@kro He's not a cuck at all. He's a more relatable officer who knows how to use the resources at his disposal. And Riker really makes a good point in the first few episodes that a captain does not belong on an away team. (t. officer pro. Even if it's on Earth and in the army, not the navy[we don't have one])
Also, Kirk was the first character to ever kiss a nigger on TV, after all. :^)

@nepfag @kro >when you find out that Nepu secretly watched TNG sometime in the past

@kfist @kro I watched all of them, including Enterprise. From witch I mostly remember that adding an acoustic guitar track to the OP from S3 onward really shat on everything.
-
@nepfag RIKER IS A CUCK
CUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK
-
@kro Yeah he is, but Picard isn't. You were complaining about the captain in your previous post.
-
@moonman @kro Localized reruns were a thing when I was <10. It's an old show.
-
@kro Spoken like a true commiefornian. An officer is an officer, and an enlisted is an enlisted. I even dislike TNG for sending most of the bridge crew on a 5man away team (out of a crew of over 1000 people). A modern army would send a lot more people with a lot lower rank down there.
-
@kro Civis watched him to do that. I can assure you that vets definitely didn't like that part of him.
-
@kfist @kro Yeah, the format is to blame more than anything. Star Trek really is a horrible fit for a TV show. The movies are a lot better, the vidya is great (Bridge Command for the ship level, Armada 2 for the Admiral level, Elite Force 2 for being a lowly Marine) A TV limited budged TV show is really the worst thing you can do with Star Trek.
