     @oct2pus oh i was just thinking about the time at work i got tasked with figuring out how to make our website accessible to the blind, and after using a screen reader to consume various content i gained a lot of empathy for people that rely on them

     @oct2pus semantic markup becomes really important because it can give the screen reader hints what parts are relevant to the reader. like it would suck if it started reading all the header menu items on every page before the content.
