  Landmines in DMZ to be cleared from Monday

  The two Koreas will start removing land mines from the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) on Monday as a first step to disarm the border area following the historic Pyongyang Declaration agreed on by leaders from both sides. For 20 days from Oct. 1, Seoul and Pyongyang will clear mines from the Joint Security Area (JSA) along the DMZ, according to the South's Ministry of National Defense.
