     @moonman they made a law here that 30% of board members of companies listed on the stock exchange have to be female. I bet all the underpaid cleaning ladies and hair cutters were happy that there were more millionaire women 50 levels over them now.

     @djsumdog my experience with IT has been:
     
     there are many males in IT that IT is the only thing they want to/can do. sometimes this means they're really really good at it 
     
     There are many females in IT that are talented at multiple things, but (at least fo the time being) chose IT
     
     I guess what I am saying is, maybe women leave IT because it sucks and they have options.
