  　日本マイクロソフト（株）は10月12日、Windows 7/Windows Server 2008 R2で更新プログラムの適用に失敗することがあることを明らかにした。“0x8000FFFF”というエラーが記録されてインストールに失敗した場合の解決策が、公式ブログ“Ask CORE”で案内されている。
