      　10月15日、NECプラットフォームズから、IPv6通信を高速化する「IPv6 High Speed」対応の新ファームウェアがリリースされた。これによって見えてきたのは、「v6プラス」や「transix」といったIPoE IPv6を利用したインターネット接続の通信速度が、ルーターの性能によって大きく変わるという事実だ。
