@wakest Basic discovery was pushed in May, and in July I turned it on. Full federation isn't quite ready yet!

@wakest Yes.
First the admin dashboard delayed AP in July, then in August is was UI updates. In September I focused on improved blocking/mutes and October was all about more safety/privacy improvements. You can only push federation support once, and I want to make sure it's done right.

@wakest No, and that is one regret I have for turning it on early.
Since pixelfed inbox isn't listening, it has no idea who is remote following who. Users who want to follow pixelfed users will need to cancel the original follow request and re-follow them.

@wakest it depends, pixelfed can discover content to some extent but you can also search the URL of the reply so the :pixelfed: instance knows about it.
