In the theme "neo-quitter" you recently added a small field to manually resize the message field, esp. when the text body grows larger. That works well when you write something in the "share your status"-field, but not when you reply to someone. In the reply-field the little bottom right corner is marked for groing but is not responsive for the mouse to alter the size of the message-field. -

The issue is less a max number of accounts or a max number of subscriptions but a max number of subsriptions that themselves have a high number of followers. And how would you come to fair guidelines or criteria for that? Perhaps the easiest way would be to either decrease priority of federating to such "celebrity accounts" ("first the little ones") or to federate to such "celebrity accounts" and only their followers to which the the first one subscribes to as well. -

Any attempts to rein in Turkey and Iran in their assaults on the Kurds in Syria and Iraq? At least against Turkey? Anything? NATO? What the cluster-fuck! -

My apologies to all about my terse and negative tone. It's not a good day. -

@es0mhi Thank you for confirmation; it's actually the second reply to you; the first seems to have gone astray.

> ... it was a DM sent to you, your reply is a DM.
All nice but why then do *mentioned* people appear as being addressed with a DM in my Outbox but not the original addressee @es0mhi ? That is the strange thing. Fascinating .-) -

@simsa04 Well, if you followed a link from a mail, and it was a DM sent to you, your reply is a DM.
The magic would be if it arrived fine :) -

Some more #gnusocialmagic :
As I said earlier in this thread, I tried to reply to es0mhi two times. In both cases I mentioned other people, @ aral and you. Now going into my Outbox of messages, I don't see these replies as sent to es0mhi (which is normal behaviour) but I see them as if addressed to @ aral and you (which is not normal behaviour because there shouldn't be a copy of a reply in my Outbox at all).
The miracle: Both replies only appear in Outbox inasmuch as their recipient is *the first @-recipient* occurring in the text body *after* the original @-address, i.e., that of es0mhi. You see this in the screenshot below in the DM seemingly addressing you: Your handle appears earlier in the text body than @ aral's; but only to you the notice appears as being sent as recipient of a DM.
Incredible :-)
