    Oh. I just see that this notice is a DM (it appears in "Message") to me from tilde.zone to which replies (like always in gnusocial) are not possible. So everything seems normal, I only got confused by the email notification. Sorry again for the unnecessary trouble.

    This note by @es0mhi https://gnusocial.net/notice/13206574 doesn't appear in my Home TL (I reached it via the link in the email informing me about a new notice). Two attempts to reply to it failed; both replies looked like they were attached but then didn't show in my Home TL. Returning to the notice via the email-link showed that the replies had not been attached.

    @simsa04 I've just run the script. Several mastodon.social accounts give error, by the way.

    About infinite scroll: it has been active for years. What I shared the other day works in case the timeline (any timeline) gets stuck: add "?page=2" to the end of the address and you'll get a button to click.

    It's still an issue, even replying to this notice of yours was not possible the first time and the notice vanished.

    I don't think that the situation will return to normal given a) the design decisions of the main developer of the mastodon network, and b) because of the impact of "celebrity" accounts (with high numbers of subscribers) on #federation and all instances of the #fediverse. @aral has written a good piece about it https://ar.al/2022/11/09/is-the-fediverse-about-to-get-fryed-or-why-every-toot-is-also-a-potential-denial-of-service-attack/ . To me it is as seminal as the piece by Manuel Ortega from 2015 about the partial display of conversations involving various participants and various instances: https://blog.p2pfoundation.net/gnu-social-federation-against-the-social-model-of-twitter/2015/04/25

    Sorry to bother you again but could you please run the script again? I miss a lot of replies, esp. from tilde.zone.

    Also, since you activated the constant loading of new notices, the Favorites-TL stops at the page end without loading and without providing means to click for the next page.

    I don't see all your replies and I have to ask @administrator regularly to run a script to fix my subscriptions to receive your replies. I saw your longer reply on my mastodon.social backup account (re: value of introductions vs. other means) but did not have the leisure to respond.

    Personally I don't think that things will return to normal, esp. after @aral pointed out some technical issues that come with subscribing to "celebrity" accounts and massive traffic for each involved (subscriber-) instance.     @JordiGH @thegibson @zash Before this, I could press "follow" and give my handle, so it redirected to my Gnusocial server, just with another click to confirm. Really nice.

    Now, I have to copy the handle, go to my server, paste it, change the format (it only gets user @ server, before it worked with https:// server / user) and confirm.

    I feel this is an anti-feature. I know, first world problems, but anti-feature nonetheless.

    As dishwasher and lavatory attendant I do dirty work, not coding. So I did not watch hotmail, gmail, etc.

    I used "federated silo" in the sense of "silo on the fediverse". That there may be other silos using distributed networks is beside the point. It's about this network, the #fediverse, with its thorough propaganda ¹ of "open / free / community" that got subdued by various activities, including design decisions by the leader of the Mastodon network.

    @Corroncio Gracias por publicar esto. He ayudado a gente que gestionaba un refugio, acogiendo a gatetes hasta que alguien los adoptara definitivamente (como "Panoli", en mi imagen de perfil), y esa gente, además de gestionar todo ese curro, también hacían campañas como las que describes.
