   Here's a thought: self-hosting all technology, a common end goal of many software freedom enthusiasts, has nothing to do with freedom. Rather, it's the logical end of hyper-individualism applied to source code.

     Here is a counterpoint: maybe self-hosting isn't about one person, one server. I think most self-hosting enthusiasts would be (and are) happily sharing their servers with other people, family, friends, community.

     This solves the massive problem of hyper centralisation not with hyper individualism (which, I agree, comes with its own risks) but by reducing our dependency on VC bullshit driven surveillance services.

     @ilumium @ehashman as a self-hosting enthusiast, I host for lots of communities because I know it's unrealistic for everyone to know (or care) enough to do it for themselves...and it's no extra effort to host for others if I'm doing it for myself anyway. It's a natural, easy way for me to provide value for others - to give back to my community, that's given quite a lot to me.

      @Lutica@groundpolis.app 何に使うかにもよるけど、ゲームに使うならRazerの光軸とかの方が良さそう（遮ってる光で入力を判定する方式なので耐久はおそらくリアフォより長い）
      
      文字入力に使うなら圧倒的にリアフォかな

    Estaba leyendo el washington post sobre Ucrania, y fuera de si es verdad o mentira lo que dicen, lo que me causa malestar es ver cómo hay dos realidades tan tremendamente distintas en los medios occidentales y los medios rusos, chinos, venezolanos, iraníes. Estamos en un momento en que la polarización del mundo se profundiza a grandes pasos. Me preocupa mucho que con esas narrativas incompatibles se prepara el clima para una guerra internacional prolongada.

      No sé si en algún momento lleguemos a una situación como la 1° o 2° Guerras Mundiales, donde las grandes potencias se enfrentaban directamente, pero las alternativas, una nueva guerra fría, o una serie de guerras "locales" entre las potencias y sus proxies, no es mucho mejor.

      Vivimos tiempos tremendos. Mi única esperanza es que la ambición de los poderosos despierte la rebeldía de los oprimidos, como fue el caso tras la primera guerra mundial (revoluciones en Rusia, Ucrania, Hungría, Alemania)
