Pretty sure everything is ready for a semi-public TestFlight of the app (though it would have to pass Apple review first). I will probably give it to patrons first though.
So #iOS apps need to have a privacy policy, that is to say, even while all Mastodon servers have each their own privacy policy, the app also needs a separate privacy policy. The question I have is, what do I write in it if the app doesn't itself store any data, it connects to a server of the user's choosing, like a browser...
Headline: "Why intermittent fasting isn't effective or healthy"
What's actually in the article: Intermittent fasting does not reduce risk of cancer or cardiovascular disease and is not effective when people binge-eat while doing it
Can’t get a TestFlight of the app going until I get an Apple developer account, can’t get that until I get a DUNS number, can’t get that until Mastodon is in the company registry, and that is asking for more paperwork ????
On mastodon.social / mastodon.online, newly registered users no longer automatically follow admins. End of an era. There's something else now... will post about it later...

I am happy to reveal that a non-profit legal entity for Mastodon, Mastodon gGmbH, is in the process of being entered into the German company register.
For context, I have been operating as a sole proprietor so far.
It's been in the works for 8 months but I didn't want to announce anything until everything was finalized just in case it didn't work out. Yesterday, I paid in the starting capital.
It wouldn't be possible without the help and advice of @mellifluousbox. More to follow in blog form.
