- effects core and xeon CPUs
- CPUs with meltdown mitigations are less effected, but still vulnerable
- this is a hardware issue - OS independent
- can be mitigated by disabling hyperthreading
- proof of concept - one thread is able to access URLs typed into firefox (a different thread)

with LynneFS, only metadata is saved, such as ID3 tags, EXIF data, etc. when you request a file, LynneFS downloads random shit from the pirate bay until it gets a metadata match with a levenshtein distance of 32 or less and returns that
