    The Miss Finland Association, as the organisation hosting the contest, announced that it would strip Sarah Dzafce of her title effective 11th December.

    As a Japanese person, I think this is a pretty harsh punishment.
    If they're going to do it, she should spend a month in Japan dressed as a Moomin.

    Disney seems awful to me, but Moomins are brilliant.

    Let me tell you something: Japanese people who love Disney are awful.

    I heard that Jobs was deeply drawn to Soto Zen in Japan and had longed throughout his life to visit Eiheiji Temple in Fukui Prefecture, the head temple of the Soto sect. However, I also heard that Apple's company cafeteria in Japan featured a dish called 'Sashimi Soba' on its menu – a bleak and apocalyptic offering indeed. This made me realise that the cultural barriers preventing Westerners from understanding Zen are extremely high.

    Not a shred of beauty, nor any taste, nor any sense of wabi-sabi.
