rinpatchremembered when I flew austrian, without knowing it's a lufthansa subsidiary. the registration desk, personnel uniforms and the ticket all carried only the logo of austrian airlines, but the bag tag said lufhansa. had to double check my bag wasn't about to fly to frankfurt

rinpatchin most of our seminars when the teacher asks "did everyone get it?" there is probably 30-50% of the group who didn't, but they don't say it, so the group just falls into silence. then some guy who already knew everything before says "yeah, I got it" and the class keeps going. tfw I became that guy on networking classes

rinpatchdid lab work for physics today. we were supposed to measure a value every 5 seconds, but fucked up and measured it only every 10 seconds. we didn't have time to redo the experiment, so we employed academia's best practices and just drew some intermediate values that looked believable enough

rinpatchuni made me write basically a brainfuck interpreter (except instead of i/o commands you just return the cell state at the end of execution for some reason) and for the past 30 minutes I've been debugging why it doesn't give the right result with the input being "<<<<< + >>>>>>>>>> --[<-] >+[>+] >++[--< <[<] >+[>+] >++]". I think I am going insane

rinpatchhistory teacher: after the group finishes presenting their talk, you should ask them questions to make sure they know what they are talking about and have thoroughly researched the topic. and if you think you will be doing the fellow students a service by not asking anything, *grins* trust me, I always have questions
