    old mechanical pencil broke, so I got a new one made by pilot. it came pre-loaded with their leads and apparently which leads you use has a noticeable impact on contrast, mind blown

    helped a certain person pass the semester programming test by writing all the code for him. being the cunning person he is he was like "yo, we could make a business out of this. I find the clients, you write the code". and like, I could use some extra cash, but also "I helped someone cheat the programming exam for 500rub" would be the dumbest reason to end up in the military

    uni people are surprisingly often confused why I use a mechanical pencil to write everything, wondered if I am the only weirdo in the group who does it. but today saw the german turk share some notes from his notebook, written with a pencil and was like "this guy gets it"

    found a website of some north korean university, and while the english version is alright, the russian version is like the ccp bad translation memes, except those are ironic. like the fact that kim jong un apparently send some researcher a "merciful table", whatever that means.the page describing international student life is also good, sounds like whoever wrote it was tortured, going to try to translate it with the same feel:Our student housing is located at the new street Remyon.Maids of the student housing care about us as if we are their children.The food in the housing is very tasty.All equipments in the housing are on the highest level, that's why we don't have any discomfort for living.We live happily in good living condition.I will diligently study in Korea, where such a favourable environment of study and living conditions are created.http://www.ryongnamsan.edu.kp/univ/ru/life/international-students-life

    @a1ba I am flying to moscow once a month for medical reasons (and well, meeting family and friends is a nice bonus). fortunately this is the last time I am FLYING there because I found a way to buy bullet train tickets cheaper than plane ones

    managed to fly next day. spent some time in moscow and prepared for my flight back today. spent 2 hours on commute to the airport, printed my ticket at the ticket machine, found my flight at the departures table, passed the security, sat near the gate. then the boarding started and… I found out I messed up and am actually flying out tomorrow…. I do not wish to be alive any longer
